- Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add shallot and garlic. Sauté until soft and fragrant.
- Whisk in cream, cream cheese, and nutmeg until smooth.
- Stir in Parmesan until melted.
- Add spinach in batches, letting it wilt.
- Add Worcestershire, lemon, spices, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer until thick and silky.
- Taste and adjust.
- Serve with a fat juicy steak, and a potato of sorts and you're in business!
